NEET UG Exam 2021: Notification, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Application Form, Fees, Admit Card, Result, Cutoff & Counselling
NEET-UG is the national level entrance exam for admission into MBBS, BDS, Ayush (BAMS), Veterinary (BVSc & AH) and other allied Medical and Paramedical courses in India. The NEET-UG examination is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for the purpose of selecting quality candidates for admission into various Medical and allied Health courses in India, NEET-UG 2021will be conducted twice from this year on online mode. The tentative dates of NEET-UG exam for the 1st phase are *1st week of May to 3rd week of May 2021. This will be the first time that a NEET-UG medical examination will be conducted in online mode. Registration of NEET-UG 2021 will start from *2nd week of March 2021, the applicant can fill in their basic details in the application form after successful registration, and the last date of registration of NEET-UG 2021 will be *1st week of April 2021. It is expected that approximately 18 lakhs students will take this test this year, due to the huge numbers of applicants this exam may take two weeks to complete. The second Phase of NEET-UG 2021 is expected in the 2nd week of July. The NEET-UG 2021 Counselling will start thereafter separately for the 15% All India quota government medical seats in the country plus seats of deemed and central universities and state-wise counseling for 85% of government seats and all private seats of the state. The minimum aggregate required in the qualifying examination is 50% for those belonging to the general category and candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need a minimum aggregate of 40% and those belonging to the OBC category need at least 45% in the qualifying examination. There is no upper age limit for the candidates appearing for NEET UG 2021, however, the minimum age required to appear for the examination is 17 years. NEET UG 2021 Application Form Candidates will be able to fill NEET UG 2021 Application Form through online mode. The application process for NEET UG 2021 will begin from *2nd week of March 2021 . Candidates must provide a working phone number and email Id at the time of registration to get login credentials. Candidates must submit their recent passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format. There is no need to send the printout of the application form to the board. NEET UG 2021Application Fee The application fee payable fordifferent categories is as follows: General & OBC Category: Rs.1400/- SC/ST/PWD/Transgender Category: Rs.750/- Candidates will be able to pay the Application Fee through online as well as offline mode. Credit Card/Debit Card/Net-banking are available as online mode. For offline mode, E-Challan facility is available at State Bank of India (SBI) branches. NEET UG 2021 Admit Card NTA will provide NEET UG 2021 AdmitCard by *3rd week of April2021. NEET Admit card will be made available through online mode. The board will also send a copy of admit card in PDF format to candidates registered email ID. Along with the admit card, candidates also have to bring passport size photograph, valid ID proof and PWD category certificate (if any). NEET 2021 Answer Key NEET UG 2021 Answer Key will bereleased in the first week of June 2021*. Through NEET answer key,candidates will be able to check their answers & can predict their marks.Candidates will have to login through their user ID & password to check theanswer key. The authority will also give an opportunity to the candidate tomake online challenge against the answer key. Candidates will have to pay a feeper answer to challenge the answer key. NEET UG 2021 Cutoff Candidates will have to score morethan the minimum NEET UG 2021 Cutoff marks to qualify the examination.The NEET cutoff will depend upon various factors like the number ofcandidates appearing in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, performance ofthe candidate, etc. The authority will also release a cutoff under 15% of AllIndia Quota seats for different categories. NEET UG 2021 Result Students who have appeared for theNEET UG 2021 exam will be able to check NEET UG 2021 Resultthrough online mode. The NEET Result will be declaredon second week of June 2021. No candidate will receive their result throughoffline mode. Candidates have to login with their details by enteringtheir Roll number & Date of Birth to check theirresult. NEET UG 2021 Merit List NEET 2021 Merit List will be releasedby NTA through online mode. The merit list of the eligible candidateswho will opt for 15% of All India Quota seats will be on the basis of marksobtained in the NEET UG 2020 exam. Admission to MBBS/BDS within the respectivecategory will be based on All India Rank (AIR) as per merit list. NEET UG 2021 Counselling The Directorate Generalof Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) willconduct the NEET UG 2021 Counselling. The counselling will be held in onlinemode. NEET UG Counselling 2021 will be conducted for the 15% seats of the totalintake from all the government colleges for the All India Quota candidates. MCCis also responsible for allotment of seats in Central and Deemed Universities,seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons in ESIC medical colleges andavailable seats at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. NEET UG Counsellingfor the remaining 85% State Quota seats of government and all 100% seats in privatecolleges will be conducted by the respective state authorities i.eDirector Medical Education (DME). NEETUG Counselling 2021 will be conducted in two rounds for 15% All India Quotaseats while for the Central & Deemed Universities and ESIC colleges, thecounselling will be conducted in three rounds. NTA NEET UG 2020 Result Declared NTA has declared the NEET UG 2020 result along with the NEET Cutoff. The exam was held on September 13, 2020 and more than 15 lakhs candidates who were arduously waiting for the NEET result can check their NEET UG 2020 result from the official website now. The NEET UG Cutoff is dependent on the student’s performance and the difficulty level of the question paper. Thus, NEET 2020 Cutoff mark is very critical and may vary from the previous year trends. NEET UG 2020 Cutoff score for General Category is 147 while the Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST is 133. NEET Cutoff marks range for general candidates is 720 to 147 while for reserved category candidates it was 133-720. Out of the total candidates those who appeared for NEET 2020, 70,4335 candidates from the General/Other Category and 92,707 candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PH have qualified NEET UG 2020. Last year, NEET Cutoff 2019 score for General category was 134 while for OBC/SC/ST candidates was 103 out of total 720 marks. Moreover, NEET Cutoff marks range for general candidates was 720 to 134 while for reserved category candidates was 720-103. Also, among the 13,26,725 candidates who appeared for NEET 2019 around 7,14,562 qualified the exam by securing NEET qualifying percentile. NEET 2020 was consideredrelatively easier, the cutoff as expected has gone high. FMGE 2020 : MCI Screening Test
The National Board of Examinations is the conducting authority of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination or MCI Screening Test 2020 to evaluate the Indian nationals with a medical degree from any country outside India. FMGE 2020 is mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates in order to be able to practice in India. FMGE is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December respectively. Aspirants qualifying FMGE 2020 will be able to obtain a permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India (MCI). The application forms of MCI Screening Test/FMGE 2018 are now available online and can be accessed and downloaded from the official website of NBE (www.nbe.edu.in). NEET PG 2021: Exam Notification NBE has released the much awaited NEET PG 2021 exam official notification for MD MS Admission into various PG medical courses for session 2021. The NEET PG exam will be held on 18th April* 2021. NEET PG 2021 is a national level entrance test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) every year for Postgraduate Medical admission in various specializations of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. To participate in NEET PG 2021 exam a Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree and a provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council and must have completed their rotatory internship on or before May 31, 2021, to be eligible for NEET PG 2021 exam. The NEET PG 2021 registration will begin in the first week of February 2021 and will be filled up to last week of February. The NEET PG 2021 examination will be a computer-based test and will be conducted in online mode containing 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). NEET PG 2021: Cutoff To get admission in PG medical programmes at various renowned institutions, candidates have to obtain the required cutoff marks in NEET PG 2021 entrance test. The cutoff marks will be based on various factors such as number of appearing candidates, number of candidates passed in the test, difficulty level of question paper, no. of vacancy, etc. NEET PG 2021: Counselling NEET PG Counselling 2021 will be held by the Directorate General of Health Services (on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee) for the seats under All India Quota and in Central and Deemed universities. The state quota allotment process will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. Only the candidates qualified in NEET PG 2021 will be eligible to participate for the counselling. MCC will release the provisional allotment list, while the final result will be made available once the seats are allotted. Candidates need to provide an option for up-gradation and also download the allotment letter. Thereafter, report to the allotted college with their relevant documents. The second round of NEET PG counselling will begin from the first week of June. The mop-up round of counselling will be conducted only for the Deemed and Central Universities. Candidates allotted seats through NEET PG 2021 Counselling will have to report to the allotted colleges within the stipulated time for admission purposes.
DNB CET June/July 2019 session exam has been cancelled
National Board of Examination has released the notice on the official website regarding the major changes in the DNB Broad Speciality examination. According to the notification, DNB CET June / July 2019 session exam has been cancelled. The admission to DNB Broad Specialty (Post MBBS ) courses will take place only once a year based on NEET PG Merit List. The National Board of Examination (NBE) has notified that from 2019 onwards, admission to DNB Broad Specialty (post MBBS) courses will be done through a single admission session, i.e; only January session. Previously, the admission was conducted in two sessions i.e. in January and July respectively. In the previous selection process, the admission to January session was done based on NEET PG and admission to July session was based on a DNB CET exam. As per the official notification, no further DNB CET exam will be conducted. Also, the seat allotment process for the January session will be done through a merit-based counselling using the NEET PG merit list. Candidates aspiring for DNB CET 2019 June / July session must make a special note of the new announcement. The examination for the July session will not be held. More clarification regarding this is yet to be released by NBE.
