The NTA administered NEET-UG 2019 has been successfully conducted on May 5, 2019 where the candidates had to answer a total of 180 questions. The offline question booklet of NTA NEET 2019 had multiple-choice questions from three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology. While each correct answer would fetch four marks, one mark would be deducted for every wrong answer, as per the NTA marking scheme of NEET 2019 paper. According to the experts of Allen Kota, the overall NEET 2019 paper can be termed as a moderate to easy paper. Breaking the previous past years’ trend, Physics surprised the test takers on easy terms, Chemistry as expected turned out to be another easy paper along with Biology. However, the Biology paper of NEET 2019 was somewhat lengthy and therefore the overall paper had been scaled between moderate to easy level. There has been a tremendous increase in the number of candidates those who register and qualify NEET every year. This year NEET 2019 has seen around 1519000 registrations for NEET and every year the competition seems to increase. National Testing Agency has conducted NEET 2019 exam for more than 1.5 million students across India. The NEET entrance exam is being held as an entrance-cum-eligibility test for admission to both medical and dental undergraduate courses offered by colleges across the country. According to the experts, the NEET 2019 exam was considered between easy to moderate level with most questions based on NCERT text books. There were no surprises in the exam and the pattern was similar to that of last years. No section was particularly difficult. There were around 7-8 questions directly taken from the previous year’s paper and the NCERT text book. Any aspirant who has studied from the NCERT text book, will be able to score well in the exam. NEET 2019 Physics paper Analysis : As per the NEET 2019 analysis released by experts, the difficulty level of physics was moderate with an equal number of questions appearing form Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. Experts point out that the 92 marks were dedicated to class 12 syllabus and questions from topics like Mechanics and Modern Physics consisted of almost 50% of the paper. Questions from Current Electricity and Magnetic Effect of Current constituted an easy portion of the Physics section. Thermodynamics and Properties of Matter also played a key role in this section. The duration of the exam was three hours.Medical colleges (except AIIMSs and JIPMER) will accept NEET scores for the counselling in both all India and state level medical admissions. Recently, the Medical Council of Indian (MCI) has also made NEET as mandatory clause for taking admissions in foreign medical colleges. Students felt that overall NEET 2019 exam was easy with easy subjects being Physics and Biology. Most questions were from NCERT and felt this exam paper was better from the previous one. Biology was easier than expected.General consensus of many students was that that NEET 2019 was an easier paper compared to the one in 2018. Most questions were from NCERT text books. This has lead to the doubt that cutoffs may be high if the exam is of easy or moderate difficulty levels. A move that will benefit thousands of medical aspirants, Union health ministry decided to bring down the cutoffs for post graduate medical seats through National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Examination (NEET) 2019.The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the responsible body for releasing the NEET PG 2019 cutoff. NEET PG 2019 is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to all post-graduate medical courses in the country. The minimum qualifying percentile was at 50th percentile for general category, 40th percentile for OBC/SC/ST and 45% percentile for PWD category.It has been decided in consultation with Director general of health services ( DGHS)  and Medical Council of India (MCI), to reduce the percentile cutoffs for NEET PG 2019, Union Health Ministry said in a statement. On 7th May 2019 the Central Government in consultation with the Medical Council of India(MCI) has decided to reduce the percentile cutoffs for NEET PG by 6 percentile, taking them to 44 percentile for general category candidates, 39 percentile for Persons with Disabilities category and 34 percentile for SC/ST/OBC category candidates. In accordance with the Clause 9(III) of the Indian Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000, when sufficient number of candidates fail to secure the minimum marks, the Central Government in consultation with the MCI, may lower the minimum cutoff marks which shall be applicable for the said academic year to fulfill the vacant medical Post graduation seat. This is a significant step towards strengthening the medical sector and indicates the priority given by the Indian Government to it. NEET 2019 Exam Centres Changed

NEET 2019 EXAM CENTRES CHANGED: NTA ISSUES FRESH ADMIT CARDS: NEET UG exam is the national-level entrance exam which is conducted for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses which are offered at medical and dental institutes approved by MCI. Due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, National Testing Agency, ahead of the NEET examination, has changed the examination centres for multiple cities.The list of the changed exam centres is available on the official website. NTA has also notified the concerned students through email, SMS, and voice message. Since the NEET examination centres have been changed, NTA has also issued fresh NEET 2019 Admit Cards. NEET Exam 2019 Rules and Regulations: National Testing Agency is going to conduct NEET UG 2019 on May 5, 2019 which had been earlier conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).Over 15.19 lakh medical aspirants have applied for the most awaited UG Medical (MBBS and BDS) entrance exam in India.NTA has laid down specific NEET Exam 2019 Rules and Regulations that a candidate is bound to adhere to. The exam day guidelines include all the necessary information on the do’s and don’ts that an aspirant must take care of. It will also acquaint the candidates about crucial information like reporting time, items to bring on the day of examination and more. According to the NEET UG 2019 Rules and Regulations, if any candidate employs unfair means or any activity which might give a candidate an illegitimate advantage over other candidates will be subjected to punishment specified by the conducting authority. Candidates in possession of any barred item will not be allowed to enter inside the examination hall. Talking or assisting other candidates to engage in any kind of malpractice inside the exam hall will be strictly dealt with as per the rules and regulations of NEET UG 2019. Flouting any of the rules mentioned above will lead to punishment in the form of debarment for 3 years and the candidate will also be liable for criminal action as deemed fit by the authority.  NEET UG 2019 Exam Day Instructions: Things to carry for NEET exam Along with the increasing exam preparation pace, the candidates must also pay keen attention to important things like examination hall etiquettes. NEET UG 2019 exam will be held on May 5, 2019 at 104 exam cities in the country. Given below are the important rules that every candidate, appearing for the exam, must follow. Candidates must carry their NEET UG 2019 admit card to the exam hall. They must reach the exam center much before the exam time and the candidates won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall after 9.30 am. They must carry the downloaded admit card and with Performa which is an attachment of admit card along with Photograph duly affixed on it. They must not carry anything to the exam hall except their admit card and photographs. Candidates must not carry any of the barred items inside the exam hall. They must also ensure that they have signed twice on the attendance sheet. Candidates must fill up the NEET test booklet using ball point pen and must match the codes of the test booklet and answer sheet before starting the exam. They must fill the answer sheet and mark the responses using blue/ black ball point pen. Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till their final admission in MBBS/BDS Course. NEET Exam Day Guidelines 2019: Barred Items Stationery items, printed or any kind of paper other than the NEET admit card and ID proof will not be permitted inside the exam hall. Items like geometry/pencil box, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, and eraser will not be allowed inside the exam centre. Communication devices like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, pager, and health band are strictly prohibited. Candidates cannot carry items like wrist watch, wallet, handbags, belt, cap, and ornaments. Any other item like microchip, Bluetooth, or camera which could be used for unfair means are strictly prohibited. NEET UG 2019 Exam Dress Code NTA has also issued specific NEET exam dress code for all the candidates who will be appearing for NEET UG 2019. It is mandatory for all the candidates to adhere to the dress code for the authorities to conduct the NEET examination smoothly. Candidates are asked to wear light clothes with half sleeves. Candidates must note that long sleeves will not be allowed inside the exam hall. NTA has allowed for the candidates, who follow a particular religion, to wear their customary dress. However, such candidates are required to report at the exam centre at least an hour before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 noon so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidates. Aspirants are required to wear footwear only with low heels like slippers or sandals. No candidate will be allowed to wear shoes inside the NEET exam center.

NEET UG 2019  Exam Day General Instructions: National Testing Agency is going to conduct NEET UG 2019 on May5, 2019. The exam day guidelines include all the necessary information on the do’s and dont’s that an aspirant must take care. It will also acquaint the candidates about crucial information like reporting time, items to bring on the day of examination and more. Candidates are required to carry their NEET UG 2019 admit card as it is the mandatory document required to enter the exam hall. Those who do not possess a valid admit card will not be permitted to enter the test hall. Every candidate will be given their own seat along with a roll number. It is essential that the candidates find their designated seat, failing which, the candidature of an aspirant shall be cancelled. No candidate will be entertained to enter the exam hall post 1:30 PM. Candidates are required to bring the following documents to the exam hall. If the candidate does not possess any of the following documents on the day of examination his/her candidature shall be cancelled. Print copy of NEET UG 2019 Admit Card Passport size photograph A valid photo ID proof PwD certificate (if applicable) No candidate should possess any barred item which is recognized as an unfair means giving an unfair advantage to the candidates. The authority will not provide any facility for safekeeping thus it is advisable not to bring any item that has been barred. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the conclusion of the exam. Beverages and eatables are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates must also ensure that the test booklet contains the same number of pages as mentioned on the cover of the test booklet. NEET UG 2019  Exam Day Guidelines: Any documents other than NEET admit card 2019 and photograph will not be permitted inside the exam hall. The invigilators will give the candidates NEET UG 2019 exam guidelines which should be adhered to by the candidates. Candidates will be required to sign the NEET answer sheet once in the beginning of the exam and then after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates will be required to give their finger impressions on the NEET UG 2019 exam attendance sheet. To fill the particulars on the test booklet, candidates will be provided the test booklet 15 minutes ahead of the examination. Candidates will be provided with a ballpoint pen in the exam hall to write the examination. To check the number of pages in the booklet, candidates will be given five minutes to open the seal of the test booklets right before the start of examination. Candidates must also ensure that the code written on the test booklet is similar to the one provided on the answer sheet enclosed in the test booklet. Candidates need to fill their details on either sides of the OMR answer sheet. It is mandatory to submit the OMR sheet to the invigilator before leaving the NEET exam hall.
