Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2021
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bengaluru is the designated counselling authority of the Government of Karnataka to conduct the Karnataka PG medical counselling, The KEA conduct the Counselling for allotment of seats for Various Medical / Dental Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses in the Government Medical and Dental colleges, KEA also conducts the counselling for Government Quota seats in Private and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges and Private seats in Private Medical and Dental colleges located in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 21.
There will be a total of three rounds in Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2021. The additional mop-up round is subject to the availability of seats. After the conclusion of each round, the result will be declared and the candidates are required to attend the document verification session to participate in the Karnataka PG medical counselling 2021. Only those candidates who will receive the verification slip and are included in the verified list will be deemed eligible to participate in the Karnataka NEET PG Counselling. Since, the admission to Karnataka PG medical courses will be taken on the basis of NEET PG score and choices submitted at the time of Karnataka NEET PG Admission 2021, therefore, it is suggested to submit preferences as per the NEET PG 2021 score.
Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka NEET PG Medical Admission 2021
Mere registration does not entitle the candidate to allotment of seat. Candidates must fulfill the conditions of eligibility during the document verification. The eligibility of candidates shall be regulated by the Karnataka Conduct of Entrance Test for Selection and Admission to Post Graduate Medical and Dental Degree and Diploma Courses as shown below.
- Candidate should have scored more than or equal to the prescribed minimum score in NEET PG 2021.
- Candidate should have completed his/her MBBS/BDS courses from recognized institute by MCI/DCI respectively.
- He/ She has completed or is completing ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ on or before 31st March 2021.
- There is no age limit for Non-In-service candidates. For In-service candidates the age limit is 48 years as on 31st March 2021.
- Please note that SC / ST / OBC / Linguistic minority eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka candidates only. However, if any OBC candidate of Karnataka has not claimed the OBC in NEET can claim respective category in PGET-2021 in KEA.
- Non-In-service candidates, who are already holding a PG Degree in any clinical specialty, shall not be eligible for admission to any Post Graduate Degree or Diploma Course. Any candidate who has obtained his / her undergraduate medical / dental qualifications from any medical / dental Colleges outside India should have qualified in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations / DCI. Further, they should be registered with the MCI / DCI and should have completed their internship or likely to complete their internship on or before 30 August 2021.
Karnataka NEET PG Counselling 2021: Documents Required
- Copy of duly filled application form of Karnataka NEET PG 2021 counselling
- Two passport-sized photographs
- Valid photo ID proof (PAN card/driving license/voter ID/passport/aadhaar card/ration card)
- NEET PG 2021 admit card
- NEET PG 2021 scorecard
- Class X mark sheet
- Class XII mark sheet
- MBBS mark sheets
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Internship completion certificate
- Certificate from the head of the institution certifying that the medical college is recognised by MCI
- Eligibility Certificate (for candidates who have graduated from an institute other than RGUHS)
- Migration Certificate (for candidates who have graduated from an institute other than RGUHS)
- Registration Certificate issued by MCI/SMC
- Compulsory Government service bond on a stamp paper of Rs 100 (Annexure 1)
- Undertaking on a stamp paper of Rs 200, stating that the candidate will serve under the state government of Karnataka for a period of three years
- Undertaking on a stamp paper of Rs 20, for completion of the document verification process
- Caste/community certificate (if applicable)

Karnataka MBBS Seat Allotment 2021

Karnataka NEET PG Counselling
A candidate can visit Karnataka Examinations Authority’s official portal to get them registered for Karnataka NEET PG Counselling. Before we speak about the counselling procedure for Karnataka NEET PG 2021, Let us first look at the Karnataka NEET PG Counselling schedule 2021. The entire counselling process can be best explained by the following steps mentioned below.
Step-1:- Counselling Registration through Online
Admission Seekers can apply online mode by visiting the website.
Step-2:- Online Security Money Payment
- Candidates who are willing to attend the counselling process to their PG Medical seat in desired Medical College must pay the required Security money fees prescribed by the Karnataka Main Computerized Counselling, Kolkata.
- After paying security money and the state merit list has been declared, the online seat choice filling option will be available as per the earlier schedule.
- The applicant would be able to take a printout of their online payment receipt.
Step-3:- Merit Declaration
- For Inter-state rank in the State merit list reference shall be NEET-PG 2021
- The final merit list will be prepared per the provisions (Displayed on the website).
Step-4:- Online Choice filling
Visit the website- http://kea.kar.nic.in/
- Click on the choice filling.
- Choice Filling Procedure:
– Login for choice filing by using your NEET roll number and password created at registration.
– Choice filing can be done in several sessions but remember to save and continue; otherwise, you’ll lose your work.
– The choice filling will not be complete until you finally submit and lock. No changes will be possible after locking the choice. - After the last date of choice, the filling is over, and the seat allotment list will be declared online.
Step-5:- Seat allotment
- log in to the website. Your seat allotment status will be displayed.
- If you accept the allotment letter:-
- But do not join or resign after joining. You’re eligible for second counselling but will forfeit your security deposit.
- Join the college you’ll remain eligible for second counselling to upgrade your seat without losing your seat. If your seat is elevated, then the previous allotment will be automatic.
- The online process will do the seat allotment on a merit cum option basis.
- Physically disabled category candidates must be physically present before a medical board constituted by dates will be available on http://kea.kar.nic.in/ website.
- Candidates eligible for the reserved category will be given admission as per rules of the state government, applicable on the date of counselling.
- OBC candidates covered by the provisions of the creamy layer will not be entitled to the benefits of the OBC category.
- Candidates who fail to produce required original documents at the time of admission or, if any, concealment or falsification of facts comes into the light at the time of admission and after that during the study will not be entitled to any benefit of having appeared in the entrance examination. Any use of acquiring a seat Legal action would be taken against such candidates.
- Candidates will be checked for their identity at admission. If it does not match, it will be counted as unfair, and their candidature will be cancelled. Additional legal action would be taken against such candidates.
- If a candidate does not participate in online counselling or does not join the allotted seat by the due date, they shall forfeit any right of admission based on said counselling/allotment.
