MCC NEET PG 2019: ALLOTMENT ROUND 2: 

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the results for the NEET PG 2019 Second Round of Online Seat Allotment/Counselling for All India Quota seats for admission to PG medical courses, MD/MS/MCh /DM, for the academic year 2019-2020. According to the Round 2 allotment list, once again the Delhi-based renowned Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) has emerged as the most preferred choice amongst the candidates. Registered candidates are eligible to log in with their credentials and download the allotment letter for further admission process. Candidates those who scored good ranks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG medical courses had participated in the online counselling process for All India quota.

The NEET PG Round 2 allotment result has been made available in PDF format. Only the qualified candidates of NEET PG/MDS who have registered and filled their choices are included in the result. The result mentions NEET PG All India Rank, actual and allotted category of candidates, roll number and name of college allotted. In case of any discrepancy in the NEET PG 2019 Counselling result, candidates need to inform the MCC official immediately. The last date report at the allocated medical college after Round 2 NEET PG Counselling 2019 is by April 22, 2019 and subsequently the rest of seats will be transferred to the State Quota.

As per the second round of seat allotment of All India Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges through NEET, once again a majority of the top-ranking candidates opted for admissions to Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Out of the total allotted seats in NEET PG Round 1 Counselling 2019,1714 candidates did not opt for upgradation and reported at the allotted colleges.4851 candidates were freshly allotted seats in Round 2 Counselling. 96 candidates were retained in Round 2 Counselling and 1008 candidates did not fill up fresh choices for Round 2 Counselling. 2770 opted for upgradation but were not upgraded in NEET PG Counselling 2019.

As per the second round of seat allotment out of the 8137 All India Quota candidates, 4607 were freshly allotted seats in Round 2 Counselling and the rest either did not opt for upgradation or were not upgraded in Round 2 seat allotment. Under the DU category, out of 272 candidates, 9 were freshly allotted seats in Round 2 Counselling and rest did not opt for upgradation. Under the BHU category out of 54 candidates 2 were freshly allotted seats and in AMU category, out of the 85 candidates, 1 was freshly allotted in Round 2 and the rest either did not opt for any upgradation or were not upgraded or remained cancelled.

 

MCC NEET PG Counselling 2019: Round 1 & Round 2 Overall Analysis

Out of the total 14631 seats transferred to Round 2 Counselling comprises of 3342 candidates those who were not allotted in Round 1 Counselling, 3797 candidates who had not reported to the respective colleges, 4 cancelled seats and 589 surrendered seats. In the Round 2 Counselling, fresh allotment of 4851 seats were made and 2073 candidates remained unallotted after the Round 2 Counselling. Out of the candidates who had opted for upgradation from Round 1, 2116 candidates were upgraded and 2770 candidates were not upgraded.2 candidates opted for changein their category from Round 1 Counselling and 1008 candidates did not fill up fresh choices.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must report at the respective college with their original documents for verification, payment of tuition fees and completion of admission process. After the second round of NEET PG Counselling 2019, the seats which are left vacant will be transferred to the respective state counselling authorities on April 22, 2019 for 50% AIQ seats. While, the MCC will conduct mop-up round only for the vacant seats in Deemed and Central Universities.
