NEET PG Exam 2021: Notification, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Application Form, Fees, Admit Card, Result, Cutoff & Counselling

NEET PG 2021: Exam Notification NBE has released the much awaited NEET PG 2021 exam official notification for MD MS Admission into various PG medical courses for session 2021. The NEET PG exam will be held on 18th April* 2021. NEET PG 2021 is a national level entrance test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) every year for Postgraduate Medical admission in various specializations of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses. To participate in NEET PG 2021 exam a Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree and a provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council and must have completed their rotatory internship on or before May 31, 2021, to be eligible for NEET PG 2021 exam. The NEET PG 2021 registration will begin in the first week of February 2021 and will be filled up to last week of February. The NEET PG 2021 examination will be a computer-based test and will be conducted in online mode containing 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, then the priority will be given to the older candidates. Also a separate merit list will be prepared by the state counselling authorities for state quota seats. NEET PG 2021: Cutoff To get admission in PG medical programmes at various renowned institutions, candidates have to obtain the required cutoff marks in NEET PG 2021 entrance test. The cutoff marks will be based on various factors such as number of appearing candidates, number of candidates passed in the test, difficulty level of question paper, no. of vacancy, etc. NEET PG 2021: Counselling NEET PG Counselling 2021 will be held by the Directorate General of Health Services (on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee) for the seats under All India Quota and in Central and Deemed universities. The state quota allotment process will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. Only the candidates qualified in NEET PG 2021 will be eligible to participate for the counselling. MCC will release the provisional allotment list, while the final result will be made available once the seats are allotted. Candidates need to provide an option for up-gradation and also download the allotment letter. Thereafter, report to the allotted college with their relevant documents. The second round of NEET PG counselling will begin from the first week of June. The mop-up round of counselling will be conducted only for the Deemed and Central Universities. MCC releases NEET UG Counselling 2020 Round 1 Result

NEET UG Counselling 2020 Round 1 Result Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Round 1 results of NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2020. The NEET MBBS/BDS Counselling 2020 Round 1 result is now available on the official website medicalcounselling.nic.in or mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have applied for the 15% All India Quota in the medical and dental colleges in the country can check their result or seat allotted to them based on their choices and Merit. Candidates have to report to the allotted colleges on or before 12.11.2020 to secure their admissions. According to the Round 1 Counselling list, Delhi-based renowned Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) has emerged as the most preferred choice for the high scorers this year. Also, it has been decided by MCC that the eligibility criteria of 15% AIQ wherein total candidates called for Counselling were five times the number of seats available for allotment has been abolished. All candidates will be considered eligible till exhaustion of seats.  Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the 15% All India Quota Counselling on the basis of NEET UG merit for the following institutes/universities: 15 % All India Quota seats for all the State Govt. medical/dental colleges/institutes, except the state of Jammu and Kashmir as per merit of NEET UG 2020. For all the UG seats of Deemed Universities as per merit of UG NEET 2020. Seats of Central Universities of Delhi University, Aligarh Muslim University, and Banaras Hindu University. NEET UG Counselling for institutes of Armed Forces Medical Services and ESIC seats. Highlights of NEET UG 2019 First Round Seat Allotment A total of 14,465 candidates have been allotted seats across all the participating institutes in different quotas under various categories, out of which 11,873 candidates have been allotted MBBS seats and 2593 candidates have been allotted BDS seats. As per the first round seat allotment of 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Government Medical Colleges through NEET UG 2019, a majority of the top-ranking candidates opted for admissions to Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, as expected. In the Deemed and Central Universities list, the top ranks opted for seats at either Hamdars Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi followed by Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.The last rank was allotted to Shri Lakshmi Narayana, Puducherry. As per the Round 1 seat allotment of All India Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges through NEET, a majority of the top-ranking candidates opted for admissions to Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. In the Unreserved category, the first rank allotted for admissions under AIQ was 10013, followed by AMU at 2331 and DU Quota at 4712. In the OBC category, the first rank allotted for admissions under AIQ was 10016, AMU and DU Quota at 8112 and 16704. In the SC category, the first rank allotted for admissions under AIQ was 58502, and DU Quota at 60290. In the ST category, the first rank allotted for admissions under AIQ was 76739, and DU at 121580. NEET UG Counselling 2019: Quota and Category wise Allotment Second Round NEET UG Counselling 2020 Second round counselling will be held to fill all vacant seats from the round 1 counselling. Any candidate, who has registered themselves for NEET counselling but did not get allotted any seats in the first round, registered candidates from the reserved category, whose admission got cancelled due to change of category. They will be considered for counselling under the new category. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must report at the respective college with their original documents for verification, payment of tuition fees and completion of admission process. After the second round of NEET UG Counselling 2020, if the seats are still left vacant, then MCC will conduct an additional mop-up round only for the vacant seats.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2019: MBBS/BDS admission in Bihar

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2019 Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has begun the online registration for Bihar NEET UG Counselling2019. Students who qualified NEET UG exam this year and are eligible for admission to state quota seats can register for the NEET UG Counselling 2019 process online. BCECEB, Patna will conduct two rounds counselling. In case of any vacant seats left, an additional mop-up round will also be conducted. Based on the choices filled, Bihar state merit rank, seats availability, reservation criteria among others, the Bihar MBBS admission 2019 will be done. Around 1125 MBBS and 243 BDS seats will be allotted through NEET UG Counselling 2019.  Aspirants must carry relevant list of documents at the time of counselling for admission to medical and dental colleges under 85% state quota seats. For all the government medical and dental colleges across India, 15% seats will be reserved for the candidates selected under the All India Quota. The counselling for AIQ seats, central and deemed universities will be done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of NEET 2019 scores.
