The National Board of Examinations is the conducting authority of Foreign Medical Graduates Examination or MCI Screening Test 2020 to evaluate the Indian nationals with a medical degree from any country outside India. FMGE 2020 is mandatory for all Foreign Medical Graduates in order to be able to practice in India. FMGE is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December respectively. Aspirants qualifying FMGE 2020 will be able to obtain a permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India (MCI). The application forms of MCI Screening Test/FMGE 2018 are now available online and can be accessed and downloaded from the official website of NBE (www.nbe.edu.in).

FMGE 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidates applying to FMGE 2020 must be either an Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India.
- The candidates should obtain the necessary primary medical qualification and MBBS degree before the ascertained period for a particular session.
- Candidates must have obtained mci eligibility certificate /NOC before carrying out their MBBS studies abroad.
- The FMGE application form 2020 will be provided in the online mode only.
- Candidates need to click on the FMGE registration link that is made available by NBE.
- All necessary details must be filled out by the candidates.
- The fee for FMGE 2020 application form should be paid via Credit or Debit Card or Net Banking only.
- Candidates successfully completing the application process will receive a confirmation sent by NBE on their registered email IDs.
OVERVIEW OF FMGE 2020 JUNE SESSION
Online submission of application form has begun on 15 April 2020. Online applications can be accessed and completed till 6 May 2020. Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin and instructions for online submission of application form and ensure that no mandatory column in the online application form is left blank. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence for re-consideration will be entertained. Any deficiency in the application form shall be communicated within 15 days of the close of the registration window. Admit cards to provisionally eligible candidates will be issued by 21 June 2020. Applicant candidates will be able to download their admit card from the website using their login ID and Password. The FMGE result 2020 will be declared by NBE in the second week of July in online mode only. The result of FMGE 2020 will be released in a PDF format containing the names of all the candidates who appeared in the exam. Candidates failing to meet the FMGE cutoff will be rendered disqualified and will not be able to register with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India.
