JIPMER is a National level entrance examination to get admission in UG Medical MBBS course. JIPMER, Puducherry will be conducting JIPMER UG 2020 on June 2, 2020 in 120 cities of India. JIPMER UG 2020 Registrations have begun on March 6, 2020 and it is mandatory for the candidates to register in order to appear for JIPMER 2020 exam. Both the mode of conduct of the exam and registration for JIPMER MBBS 2020 will be only online. JIPMER MBBS 2020 is one of the three exams conducted for MBBS admission in the country apart from AIIMS MBBS, and NEET. JIPMER UG 2020 Exam offers admission to 150 seats at the JIPMER, Puducherry campus and 50 seats at the JIPMER, Karaikal campus. The final admissions will be offered by the JIPMER Karaikal & Puducherry campuses.

JIPMER UG Application Form 2020

• JIPMER UG 2020 Application Form is accepted only through online mode.
• The online registration for JIPMER 2020 has begun from 6th March 2020.
• Log on to the official website of www.jipmer.puducherry.gov.in / www.jipmer.edu.in and click on the “Apply online MBBS Admission 2020”.
• Candidates should fill in all the details carefully as no modification will be allowed in the later stage.
• Candidates should upload the photograph and signature in the prescribed format by the authority.
• Take a printout of the filled-in application form along with the confirmation page after the final submission of required application fee.

JIPMER 2020 Application fee can be submitted through credit card/debit card/net banking. JIPMER MBBS 2020 Application Fee is non-refundable and transaction charges are applicable.

JIPMER MBBS 2020 Eligiblity Criteria

• Candidates must either be an Indian Citizen/Overseas Citizen of India.
• He/she must have completed 17 years of age at the time of JIPMER Admissions 2020 or by December 31, 2020.
• He/ She must have been born or before January 1, 2003. There is no upper age limit in JIPMER 2020.
• Unreserved/General category aspirants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with at least 50% marks taken together in all the subjects.
• Reserved/Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Other Backward Class aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with at least 40% marks taken together in all the subjects.
• Orthopedic Physically Challenged candidates belonging to General category should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with at least 45% marks taken together in all the subjects.

JIPMER MBBS 2020 Exam

JIPMER MBBS 2020 Exam will be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only. The duration of the exam shall be 2½ hours. The Online Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts: Morning Shift: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Afternoon Shift: 03:00 PM to 05:30 PM. The examination will be conducted in English medium and examination is common to all and consists of 200 single best response type MCQs having four alternatives.

• Hall Tickets for JIPMER 2020 shall be available for download to candidates whose applications are complete in all respects.
• The Hall Ticket will contain details such as name and date of birth, photo and signature image as uploaded by the candidate, Exam City allotted and Roll Number.
• No change in the above said details will be entertained after submission of application.
• Request for rectification or change of any other details in the hall ticket will not be considered under any circumstance.

JIPMER MBBS 2020 Result

The result of JIPMER MBBS 2020 will be declared on June 10, 2020. JIPMER 2020 Result will be issued in online mode in the form of merit list and individual scorecards. The overall merit list of JIPMER 2020 will include all the candidates who have appeared for the exam.

Merit Ranking would be based on the percentile score after Normalization. Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentile in the entrance exam will not be considered for admission. Merit List would be drawn category wise based on the minimum percentile as given below:

JIPMER UG Counselling 2020

The JIPMER Counselling 2020 will be held in four rounds including a final round. Candidates who will qualify the JIPMER MBBS 2020 exam will be eligible for JIPMER 2020 Counselling process. JIPMER 2020 Counselling will be conducted in offline mode and candidates will be required to report to the allotted centre which is the Academic Centre of JIPMER Puducherry. An official notice will be released before each round of JIPMER Counselling 2020. The notice will display the ranks of the candidates who invited for the JIPMER 2020 Counselling process. Candidates will be required to be present with their original documents specified by JIPMER Puducherry when appearing for the JIPMER MBBS Counselling 2020.

JIPMER MBBS Admission 2020

Admission to all candidates is based on merit, category of the candidates, and the availability of seats at the time of JIPMER Counseling 2020. All the candidates should report on due date mentioned in their admission letter, failing which, they will forfeit the admission. At any time, if the competent authorities finds that admission has been offered based on false information/ documents, the admission offered or the admission already completed shall be cancelled.
