NEET Exam 2019 Rules and Regulations:
National Testing Agency is going to conduct NEET UG 2019 on May 5, 2019 which had been earlier conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).Over 15.19 lakh medical aspirants have applied for the most awaited UG Medical (MBBS and BDS) entrance exam in India.NTA has laid down specific NEET Exam 2019 Rules and Regulations that a candidate is bound to adhere to. The exam day guidelines include all the necessary information on the do’s and don’ts that an aspirant must take care of. It will also acquaint the candidates about crucial information like reporting time, items to bring on the day of examination and more. According to the NEET UG 2019 Rules and Regulations, if any candidate employs unfair means or any activity which might give a candidate an illegitimate advantage over other candidates will be subjected to punishment specified by the conducting authority.
- Candidates in possession of any barred item will not be allowed to enter inside the examination hall.
- Talking or assisting other candidates to engage in any kind of malpractice inside the exam hall will be strictly dealt with as per the rules and regulations of NEET UG 2019.
- Candidates are not allowed to contact or communicate with any person other than the examination staff in the exam hall.
- Manipulation of documents like NEET admit card is against the NEET UG 2019 rules and regulations.
- Candidates have to provide the exact information on the NEET answer sheet as they have given while filling the application form.
- Flouting any of the rules mentioned above will lead to punishment in the form of debarment for 3 years and the candidate will also be liable for criminal action as deemed fit by the authority.
NEET UG 2019 Exam Day Instructions: Things to carry for NEET exam
Along with the increasing exam preparation pace, the candidates must also pay keen attention to important things like examination hall etiquettes. NEET UG 2019 exam will be held on May 5, 2019 at 104 exam cities in the country. Given below are the important rules that every candidate, appearing for the exam, must follow.
- Candidates must carry their NEET UG 2019 admit card to the exam hall.
- They must reach the exam center much before the exam time and the candidates won’t be allowed to enter the exam hall after 9.30 am.
- They must carry the downloaded admit card and with Performa which is an attachment of admit card along with Photograph duly affixed on it.
- They must not carry anything to the exam hall except their admit card and photographs.
- Candidates must not carry any of the barred items inside the exam hall.
- They must also ensure that they have signed twice on the attendance sheet.
- Candidates must fill up the NEET test booklet using ball point pen and must match the codes of the test booklet and answer sheet before starting the exam.
- They must fill the answer sheet and mark the responses using blue/ black ball point pen.
- Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till their final admission in MBBS/BDS Course.
NEET Exam Day Guidelines 2019: Barred Items
- Stationery items, printed or any kind of paper other than the NEET admit card and ID proof will not be permitted inside the exam hall.
- Items like geometry/pencil box, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, and eraser will not be allowed inside the exam centre.
- Communication devices like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, pager, and health band are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates cannot carry items like wrist watch, wallet, handbags, belt, cap, and ornaments.
- Any other item like microchip, Bluetooth, or camera which could be used for unfair means are strictly prohibited.
NEET UG 2019 Exam Dress Code
NTA has also issued specific NEET exam dress code for all the candidates who will be appearing for NEET UG 2019. It is mandatory for all the candidates to adhere to the dress code for the authorities to conduct the NEET examination smoothly. Candidates are asked to wear light clothes with half sleeves. Candidates must note that long sleeves will not be allowed inside the exam hall. NTA has allowed for the candidates, who follow a particular religion, to wear their customary dress. However, such candidates are required to report at the exam centre at least an hour before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 noon so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidates. Aspirants are required to wear footwear only with low heels like slippers or sandals. No candidate will be allowed to wear shoes inside the NEET exam center.
