NEET UG 2019 : Exam Analysis, Student’s Reaction, NEET Answer Key, and Solutions by Experts:
National Testing Agency (NTA) has organized its Maiden NEET exam as an entrance cum eligibility test for admissions to medical and dental courses in the country. In NEET 2019, 180 questions were asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology with each question carries 4 marks. There were 45 each question from Physics and Chemistry while there were 90 questions from Biology (for Botany and Zoology). The duration of the exam was three hours.Medical colleges (except AIIMSs and JIPMER) will accept NEET scores for the counselling in both all India and state level medical admissions. Recently, the Medical Council of Indian (MCI) has also made NEET as mandatory clause for taking admissions in foreign medical colleges.
Students felt that overall NEET 2019 exam was easy with easy subjects being Physics and Biology. Most questions were from NCERT and felt this exam paper was better from the previous one. Biology was easier than expected.General consensus of many students was that that NEET 2019 was an easier paper compared to the one in 2018. Most questions were from NCERT text books. This has lead to the doubt that cutoffs may be high if the exam is of easy or moderate difficulty levels.
NTA will release the NEET 2019 answer key (official), images of OMR response sheet and the test booklet codes of the candidates on May 25, 2019 (tentative). Candidates will be able to access and challenge the NEET 2019 Answer Key till 5.00 PM on May 27, 2019 (tentative).Interested aspirants can challenge the official answer key in the online by paying Rs.1000 per question. The examination body will announce the NEET 2019 result by June 5, 2019.

How to Calculate NEET 2019 Score?
Once the candidates have downloaded the NEET 2019 Answer Key, they can calculate the marks they have scored based on the NEET 2019 marking scheme.
- +4 for every correct answer
- -1 for every incorrect answer
- No marks will be deducted for the unattempted questions
After checking the NEET 2019 answer key, candidates must note down the number of correct and incorrect answers that they have marked in the exam and calculate their NEET Score. Overall, it was a standard NEET paper and cut-offs are likely to follow the similar trend like NEET 2017 & 2018 exams.
