NTA NEET UG 2020 Result Declared
NTA has declared the NEET UG 2020 result along with the NEET Cutoff. The exam was held on September 13, 2020 and more than 15 lakhs candidates who were arduously waiting for the NEET result can check their NEET UG 2020 result from the official website now. The NEET UG Cutoff is dependent on the student’s performance and the difficulty level of the question paper. Thus, NEET 2020 Cutoff mark is very critical and may vary from the previous year trends.
NEET UG 2020 Cutoff score for General Category is 147 while the Cutoff for OBC/SC/ST is 133. NEET Cutoff marks range for general candidates is 720 to 147 while for reserved category candidates it was 133-720. Out of the total candidates those who appeared for NEET 2020, 70,4335 candidates from the General/Other Category and 92,707 candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PH have qualified NEET UG 2020.
Last year, NEET Cutoff 2019 score for General category was 134 while for OBC/SC/ST candidates was 103 out of total 720 marks. Moreover, NEET Cutoff marks range for general candidates was 720 to 134 while for reserved category candidates was 720-103. Also, among the 13,26,725 candidates who appeared for NEET 2019 around 7,14,562 qualified the exam by securing NEET qualifying percentile.

NEET Cutoff Trends: General Category and SC/ST/OBC Category
The unreserved category candidates have to score atleast 147 marks in NEET 2020 in order to get equal to or above the 50th percentile and the reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) candidates have to score atleast 133 marks in order to get equal to or above the 40th percentile. NEET 2020 was consideredrelatively easier, the cutoff as expected has gone high.
Post result declaration, counseling for seats under 15% all India quota and all seats in Central Institutions including AFMC, ESI, Delhi University (DU), BHU & AMU and Deemed Universities will begin. Online NEET UG 2020 Counselling would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services.Candidates willing to apply for admission in State Medical Colleges/ Universities/ Institutions using merit list of NEET UG 2020 shall follow the instructions of the State Government and/or the authorities of Medical/Dental colleges/ University concerned for counselling. NEET UG 2020 Counselling for Private Medical Colleges (except Deemed) will be with the respective State Governments.
