The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the dates for NEET UG Counselling 2021 for the admission in MBBS and BDS seats in India. MCC will conduct the NEET UG Counselling 2021 tentatively in the month of October . The counselling of NEET UG 2021 will be held in online mode for undergraduate medical admissions in the country.
NEET UG Counselling 2020 will be conducted for the 15% seats of the total intake from all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu & Kashmir) for the All India Quota candidates. MCC is also responsible for allotment of seats in Central and Deemed Universities, seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) in ESIC medical colleges and available seats at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. While the counselling of NEET UG 2020 for the remaining 85% State Quota seats of government colleges and all the private colleges will be conducted by the respective state authorities. NEET UG Counselling 2021 will be conducted in two rounds for 15% All India Quota seats while for the Central & Deemed Universities and ESIC colleges, the counselling will be conducted in three rounds. The counselling result of NEET UG 2021 will be released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment left.

NEET UG MCC Counselling 2021 for AIQ
- For 15% All India Quota seats, the counselling is conducted by MCC -Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India.
- The seats will be allotted as per the all India rank of the candidate and filled choices.
- Candidates, those who participate in this counselling can also take part in the state quota counselling of their respective states.
- NEET 2020 counselling for AIQ would be done in three rounds including a Mop-up round.
- The choice filling for Round 1 will begin from second week October 2021* and candidates are required to register before last date.
NEET UG MBBS/BDS Counselling 2021 for Deemed Universities and Central Universities
- The 100% MBBS/BDS seats in Deemed Universities including NRI seats will be Filled by MCC centralized counselling.
- For 100% MBBS/BDS seats in Central universities will be filled by MCC following the quota and categories norms laid by the central universities.
- MCC will also conduct the counseling for all ESIC and AFMC colleges MBBS/BDS seats.
- The MBBS/BDS seats of Delhi will be filled by MCC UG counseling following the eligibility ,quota and categories norms laid by Faculty of Medical science –Delhi University.
MCC Registration For MBBS/BDS counselling:
Candidates are required to register for the counselling process online, the link to the same will be enabled in the official website www.mcc.nic.in as and when the process starts. Candidates will be required to submit their academic and personal details. After successful registration, candidates will have to pay NEET UG 2021 counselling fee. The counselling fee can be paid online through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
MCC Exercising and Locking of Choices
Candidates will have to submit preferences. Candidates must note that admission will be on the basis of NEET score and preferences submitted during the counselling process. Candidates will have the list of colleges and there is no limit to select choices. It is advisable to lock the choices becauseif there are no saved choices then it will be considered that the candidate has not selected any choices and will not be considered at the time of NEET seat allotment.
MCC Seat Allotment Result
After each round of NEET UG Counselling, the seat allotment result will be declared. NEET counselling result will be released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter. Candidates can check their name, roll number, allotted category, candidates’ category, allotted college, quota, and course in the NEET UG seat allotment list. The seat allotment letter is an important document which needs to be carried at the time of reporting to the allotted college along with other mandatory documents
Reporting to Allotted College
Once the MBBS/BDS seats are allotted to the candidates, they have to report to the allotted college to confirm the seat.Candidates will have to carry the required documents in original with one set of photocopy. Candidates have to pay the initial admission fee to confirm the seat and should complete the admission formalities. In case the candidate fails to reach the allotted collegewithin the given time period, the seat will be transferred automatically to the next round of counselling, the non-reported candidates has no authority to claim that seat again.
