Punjab MBBS/BDS Counselling 2020
The registrations for the Punjab MBBS/BDS admission process has already started and the last date to register for the counselling is in November, 2020. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), the regulatory body for Punjab MBBS Counselling 2020 will conduct the Punjab MBBS Round 1 Counselling 2020 through online mode, while the second round and additional mop-up round would be held in offline modes. Aspirants who will be included in the state merit list will be eligible for online Punjab MBBS/BDS Counselling 2020. Only the candidates who will fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the state will be called for admission to the available MBBS/BDS seats under the 85% state quota seats in government, government-aided as well as private colleges of the state.
While the remaining 15% seats from all the government medical and dental colleges will be reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ) candidates and will be filled on the basis of NEET scores obtained by the candidates. The result of Punjab MBBS Counselling 2020 will be released for each round of seat allotment. Candidates those who have been allotted seats must report at the designated colleges along with their relevant documents for verification and completion of the admission process.

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences will release the merit list of candidates separately for different categories on November, 2020, including candidates of NRI category. The merit list of Punjab MBBS Counselling 2020 will include details like the candidate’s name, registration number, category code, rank, and percentile. Admission officials will announce the Punjab MBBS 2020 seat allotment result for online round 1 counselling on November, 2020. Candidates those who have been allotted with seats must report at the designated colleges along with their relevant documents for verification and completion of the admission process. Seat allotment for Round II counselling will be announced separately. If the seats remain vacant even after the second round of counselling an additional mop-up round will be conducted by the authority.
