MBBS Eligibility Criteria in India

1.) At the time of MBBS admission in India, the candidate must be 17 years old.

2.) The candidate must be under the age of 25.

3.) For general category students, the medical applicant must have a 50% average in 12th grade. Candidates in the reserved category must score at least 40%.

4.) For AIIMS, the proportion is 60% for SC/ST and 45% for OBC.

5.) A medical applicant must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as primary courses in 12th grade.

6.) NEET is required.

7.) Other admission examinations that a medical student might take include JIPMER or AIIMS entrance exams, Kerala CEE, Karnataka CET, and others.

MBBS Documents Required in India

Medical candidates must maintain the following documents on hand when applying for MBBS admission in India:

1.) Medical aspirants must hold authentic mark sheets of class 10th and class 12th.

2.) A valid NEET scorecard is required for admission to MBBS India.

3.) Medical applicants must have a valid school transfer certificate, a code of conduct certificate, a medical certificate, a health check-up certificate, and proof that they have no criminal record.

4.) Having a passport and passport-sized photocopies are also required.

5.) Students must present a caste certificate confirming that the medical candidate is SC/ST/OBC.

6.) Medical candidates must present a bank statement from their parents indicating that they will be able to pay the entrance costs.
